In recent years, the considerable importance of healthcare and the indispensable appeal of curative issues, particularly the diagnosis of diseases, have propelled the invention of sensing platforms. With the development of nanotechnology, the integration of nanomaterials in such platforms has been much focused on, boosting their functionality in many fields. In this direction, there has been rapid growth in the utilisation of nanocellulose in sensors with medical applications. Indeed, this natural nanomaterial benefits from striking features, such as biocompatibility, cytocompatibility and low toxicity, as well as unprecedented physical and chemical properties. In this review, different classifications of nanocellulose-based sensors (biosensors, chemical and physical sensors), alongside some subcategories manufactured for health monitoring, stand out. Moreover, the types of nanocellulose and their roles in such sensors are discussed. This work was supported by the University of the Basque Country (Training of Researcher Staff, PIF 20/197)

Introduction: One of the common concepts to show the happiness and stability of marriage is the concept of marital satisfaction. Marital satisfaction plays an important role in the stability of marriage. This study was conducted to explain the perception of marital satisfaction among Iranian women. Methods: This study was conducted between March and September 2015 by common qualitative content analysis approach through semi-structured interviews and 19 participants were selected by purposive sampling. Results: With the analysis of data two themes: (maturity of personality) which included a sub-theme of blossoming of feelings, and (romantic interaction) consisted of three sub-themes of; mutual support, sense of peace and joyful dependence emerged. Conclusion: Marital life can lead to the development of people and lovely interaction between them. Surely it needs to passing of time and self-knowing and couple-knowing of each other. Family consultants need the perception of how couple's interaction is, also they need to understand about couples who can communicate well to each other so they can overcome many life's other deficiencies

In this study, pectin/γ-Fe2O3/gl nanocomposite was synthesized using a single-step chemical precipitation method and used as an eco-friendly adsorbent to remove Cd2+ and Pb2+ from aqueous solution. The nanocomposite was characterized by FE-SEM, EDX, FTIR, XRD, VSM, and TEM analyses. The effect of various parameters such as solution pH (2 to 5), contact time (0 to 60 min), initial ion concentration (10 to 200 mg. L-1), and adsorbent dosage (0.1 to 0.4 g.L-1) on the removal efficiency was investigated. The maximum adsorption capacity of Cd (II) in the conditions (pH: 5, dose of adsorbent: 0.2 g.L-1, and contact time:40 min, initial concentration: 50 mg.L-1 ) and Pb (II) in the conditions (pH: 4.5, dose of adsorbent: 0.1g.L-1, and contact time:30min, initial concentration: 50 mg.L-1 ) was 470 and 325 mg. g-1, respectively. The adsorption kinetics was studied using several kinetic models including Langmuir isotherm, Freundlich isotherm, Sips isotherm, and Temkin isotherm. Results indicated that the adsorption mechanism could be well represented by the pseudo-second-order model. The equilibrium data of Cd (II) and Pb (II) adsorption were reasonably described by the Sips and Langmuir isothermal models. The positive value of delta H and negative values of delta G exhibit the endothermic and spontaneous nature of the adsorption process

The relationship between open book management and trust with organization financial performance

AbstractThis research is aiming to find the relationship between OBM indicators and trust with the financial performance of Saderat Bank braches in Shiraz. Saderat Bank has 77 branches as a sample. To collect the required information, a questionnaire was prepared. To evaluate the OBM, 8 closed questions were considered to have Yes or No answers. To investigate the trust in management, 22 questions in four groups indicators were considered. The results show that there is a positive correlation between these variables and just in a few cases with the little deviation it has not high positive correlation

Modeling and optimization of ethanol fermentation using Saccharomyces cerevisiae: Response surface methodology and artificial neural network

In this study, the capabilities of response surface methodology (RSM) and artificial neural networks (ANN) for modeling and optimization of ethanol production from glucoseusing Saccharomyces cerevisiae in batch fermentation process were investigated. Effect of three independent variables in a defined range of pH (4.2-5.8), temperature (20-40ºC) and glucose concentration (20-60 g/l) on the cell growth and ethanol production was evaluated. Results showed that prediction accuracy of ANN was apparently similar to RSM. At optimum condition of temperature (32°C), pH (5.2) and glucose concentration (50 g/l) suggested by the statistical methods, the maximum cell dry weight and ethanol concentration obtained from RSM were 12.06 and 16.2 g/l whereas experimental values were 12.09 and 16.53 g/l, respectively. The present study showed that using ANN as fitness function, the maximum cell dry weight and ethanol concentration were 12.05 and 16.16 g/l, respectively. Also, the coefficients of determination for biomass and ethanol concentration obtained from RSM were 0.9965 and 0.9853 and from ANN were 0.9975 and 0.9936, respectively. The process parameters optimization was successfully conducted using RSM and ANN; however prediction by ANN was slightly more precise than RSM. Based on experimental data maximum yield of ethanol production of 0.5 g ethanol/g substrate (97 % of theoretical yield) was obtained
